The agency began operations in 1937 under the ownership of Glen Sutherland. In 1960, it was purchased by John Reynolds, and operated from the JC Penney building, then later from an office in the Vedder building. Its final home under John Reynolds' direction was in the Bowers building across the town square.
In 1984, ownership was transferred to Murray Reynolds. Another move, 1993, brought the agency to its present location at 118 East Washington St. The agency incorporated in 2001, and is now known as Reynolds Insurance, Inc.
